ABOUT ME

Born and raised in San Antonio, Chandler Simpson is the founder of CHANDLERXROCKS—a fashion designer and journalist rewriting the rules of womenswear through sustainability, subversion, and a refusal to play it safe.

A Parsons Paris graduate with a BFA in Fashion Design, her work is grounded in the discipline of French tailoring, pattern-making, and meticulous construction—but don’t mistake precision for predictability. Chandler’s designs challenge the idea that femininity should be polished, passive, or pretty on demand.

Her debut 2023 collection, “I am so sick of being (pretty),” set the tone: one-of-one, entirely handmade pieces shaped by personal history and the raw, unfiltered reality of girlhood and friendship.

At CHANDLERXROCKS, nothing is new; every piece has a story and a past—and that’s the point. Each garment is built from reclaimed materials pulled from the forgotten corners of thrift stores: bed sheets, doilies, napkins—whatever’s been cast aside and neglected. Through a process that’s equal parts instinct and intention, Chandler transforms the discarded into pieces that feel bold, intimate, and impossible to replicate.

Her work lives at the intersection of fashion, storytelling, and reinvention—where resourcefulness is power, individuality is non-negotiable.

Because making something out of nothing? That’s just how she was raised.
